The Baptist Manor Walk of Memories

We, at the Baptist Manor, are about to undertake a wonderful project that we know you all will want to participate in. Our beautiful 35 acre complex, in Farmington Hills, is in need additional program support and renovation, and we have decided what a better way to give ourselves a “face-lift” than to create a Baptist Manor - Walk of Memories to honor the memory of our family and friends, and mark special events in our lives. We are very excited about this project because our resident family members who have passed on will be forever be immortalized on our campus, creating a permanent legacy for ourselves and our families.

Each family and friend is invited to purchase a brick that will convey a personal message. The bricks may be purchased as a memorial tribute to a loved one, or in commemoration of a special occasion such as a birth, baptism, graduation or wedding You can leave your mark on the world, here on our campus. In addition, we will offer you the chance to purchase a replica of the original brick, to be used as a mini-paperweight or a gift of remembrance. What better way to enhance the beauty of the Baptist Manor campus, than to honor and remember those who were part of our Baptist Manor family.

This project will also be promoted throughout our Farmington Hills Community as this will be a major on-going campaign for the Baptist Manor; but a labor of pure love. Imagine that while you are memorializing someone special, you will also be helping the Baptist Manor to preserve its’ facilities and programs.

The Baptist Manor will commence the Baptist Manor - Walk of Memories project starting in May, 2006. Discuss this project with your family and friends, and let this be a grand community memorial and beautification project. What a marvelous way to memorialize your loved ones, mark important life changing events, and help the wonderful work of the Baptist Manor in preserving the quality of life for their residents, and our community in Farmington Hills.

Please join us in this special project; it will truly” take a village” to accomplish this beautiful dream, and with your help, we will most assuredly do so. Our ministry, at the Baptist Manor, has always been to “assure that our elderly retain their independence while maintaining their quality of life through an affordable continuum of services, care, and housing”. What a more sacred ministry than to care for the generations that so lovingly cared for us; housed, fed, clothed, educated, supported, sacrificed, and loved us. living God’s commandment, to care for our brother, is truly lived here.
