Independent Living

Beta and Delta Homes

Duplex and Quadplexes 


Beta Home:

2 bd, 2 bath, Laundry/Utility Room, Attached Garage, Patio, Central Air, Dishwasher, and Eat-In Kitchen. 

1200 sq ft. Rent includes the Gas, Water/Sewage, and Heat. Tenant pays for Electricity. ​​All Manor Enhanced Services are Available.
$1800 monthly. 4-5 + year waitlist


Delta Home:   

1 or 2 bd with 1 bath. The square footage in the 1 bedroom equals 823 sq ft at $1400 monthly while the 2 bedroom allows for 936 sq ft at $1600 monthly. 4+ year waitlist

Both 1 and 2 bd units include: Laundry/Utility Room, Carport, Patio, Wall unit AC. The rent includes Gas, Water/Sewage, and Heat. Tenant pays for electricity. ​All Manor Enhanced Services are available.

Market Rate Buildings

 The Alpha Building is a one-story building. 

Alpha holds 101 units. As of 1/1/2025:

30 Studios at $1200, with updated open kitchen, tiled walk-in shower, 55-inch TV mounted. 

50 1-bd at $1200 and

11 2-bd at $1300. 


Amenities include: Extra Storage Space, Library, Community/Dining Room, Lounge, Hair Salon, and General Store. Units include a wall-unit air conditioner.​ All Units include a patio door and patio off the living area.


Rent includes: Heat, Water/Sewage, Electricity. ​PLUS Cable, Phone, and Wireless Internet provided by Pillar Technologies! 

 

The Gamma Building is a two-story building equipped with an elevator.
Gamma features 150 units as follows,

1st Floor: 

50 Studios at $1200,

90 1-Bd at $1200, and

10 2-Bd at $1300



Amenities include: Library, Activity/Dining Room, Lounge, Hair Salon, General Store, and a Chapel. First Floor units have patio doors and patios.


Rent includes: Heat, Water/Sewage, Electricity. ​PLUS your Cable, Phone, and Wireless Internet provided by Pillar Technologies! 


Room sizes: 

Studio 475 sq ft; 

1 bd 565 sq ft; 

2 bd 702 sq ft.

Subsidized HOUSING Buildings

***THE SUBSIDIZED HOUSING WAITLIST FOR ONE BEDROOM APARTMENTS AT BOTH THE EPSILON AND THE DRAKE BUILDINGS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED. PLEASE CHECK BACK PERIODICALLY FOR UPDATES.***


The Epsilon Building is located on Baptist Manor's West 13 Mile Rd. campus. Epsilon is a two-story building equipped with elevators.

The Epsilon holds 102 units: 97 1-bedroom units and 5 2-bedroom units. Community Room, Laundry Facilities on both floors, 2 elevators, Library, Lounge, Courtyard.

All Units are subsidized through the Section 202/8 HUD program. 

To qualify for this subsidy your annual income 

as a single person cannot exceed $53,700; two persons $61,400. 

Tenants pay 30% of their monthly income. This includes heat and water. Residents pay electricity but receive an allowance toward bill.

​All Manor Enhanced Services are offered at this location.​


 

The Drake Building is located off campus, at 23200 Drake Rd., Farmington. Conveniently located near downtown Farmington and expressways. The Drake Building is between Grand River Ave. and Freedom Rd.

Drake holds 102 units: 97 1-bedroom units and 5 2-bedroom units. Community Room, Hair Salon, Laundry Facilities on both floors, 2 Elevators, Library, Chapel, Activity Room, Courtyard.

All Units are subsidized through the Section 202/8 HUD program. 

To qualify for this subsidy your annual income 

as a single person cannot exceed $33,600; two persons $38,400.

Tenants pay 30% of their monthly income. This includes heat and water. Residents pay electricity but receive an allowance toward bill.

 Housing Application Packet consists of a market rate housing application packet that includes all required documents needed for screening an interested applicant

Subsidized Housing Application Packet consists of a subsidized housing application packet that includes all HUD required forms and application needed to determine the applicant's eligibility for HUD housing. 

Currently the One-bedroom subsidized waitlist is closed.

 The Two-bedroom waitlist remains open for eligible applicants, please review the current Tenant Selection Plan for eligibility.   


Tenant Selection Plan allows interested parties to learn what will be required/needed to become a member 

of The Baptist Manor Community in any of our apartment buildings.

The Baptist Manor, Fund Development Division, is offering the community-at-large an opportunity to help those who can not help themselves, by contributing to the DBM Endowment Fund. 

A variety of ways in which you can contribute (tax deductible) include:

  •     Life Income Gift

​​The DBM Endowment Fund, established in 1986 enables us to continue to provide for the care of residents who have exhausted all financial resources and are in need of Assisted Living Services, provided through the Haworth Assisted Living Center.   In keeping with the mission of the agency -

What To Expect...

There are times when even the most independent senior could use a helping hand with some daily activities. For these times we recommend our Enhanced Services Program. Fees are based on the time involved and the nature of the service. Because these fees are determined by The Baptist Manor, it is our intent to deliver the best services at the most cost effective packages to our residents. We believe in giving our residents the choice to stay in their home as long as possible.

Each of our residents has their own unique needs and wishes. Based on periodic assessments, the level of care  is determined.


Our non-profit pricing structure insures every care-giving dollar goes directly towards the care of your loved one.


In keeping with our faith-based mission, religious services and pastoral care are available.

Activities

A full-time Director of Activities is on staff to keep our residents mentally alert and physically active throughout the day.  This picture is from our 2017 Boat Trip. The Monthly Calendar is always full of activities for each individual personality. 


Tender Heart Therapeutic Arts & Crafts visit every Wednesday to work with our seniors. This is an optional program and works through the resident's insurance.
